My passion

Speaking of passions, I am a lover of the outdoors, hiking and travelling to various (sometimes remote) locations. In a nutshell, I love to generally experience nature. I think that nature can be one of the biggest teachers and inspirations for how to do things better (even in the realm of technology and advancement). In engaging with nature, I see how various insects, like ants, work together in systems to have better outcomes. I see how different life forms work together in one ecosystem to form a cohesive and well-run whole. This is the same approach I take to business and to designing systems/solutions for clients. I look at the overall picture to see how each element interconnects to work together. And while it may seem counterintuitive, I believe that nature and technology go together rather than conflict, which is why sustainable systems are so important.

And while I love the great outdoors and the freedom that comes with it, I am conscious that freedom comes with responsibility. We must do all things safely and securely. I am very keen on ensuring that whatever I build or design, it is with security and privacy in mind.

I also believe in self-development and continuous advancement, even as technology itself advances. I am constantly reading, researching and generally finding new ways to properly utilize technology to keep my clients on the cutting edge. As a Toastmaster, I believe that part of development also involves communicating and leading more effectively, and through these skills I am able to have meaningful discussions to help use the advancing technology to bring my clients’ vision to life.
